Legendary Australian singer-songwriter Daryl Braithwaite is coming back to Toowoomba as part of a new supergroup featuring a number of well-known faces.
Braithwaite, best known for his chart-topping 1990 hit The Horses, will play Rumours International on June 4 with The Fabulous Caprettos.
The group also includes Thirsty Merc frontman Rai Thistlethwayte, Southern Sons singer Jack Jones and Russell Morris, best known for the song The Real Thing.
“(These) friends coming together to perform for the first time with a fabulous band,” Rumours International said on its website.
“This performance will be something special as the audience can see and hear all artists performing together on stage for the entire duration of the concert.
“They will perform their hits, favourites and songs that will only be heard for the first time at these shows.”
Braithwaite is no stranger to playing the Garden City, having performed at the Food and Wine Festival in 2017 and at Clifford Park Racecourse in 2018.
