Cirque Africa coming to Toowoomba at the Empire Theatre
A colourful circus of extraordinary physical feats, music and energy is set to come to Toowoomba this month, showcasing the culture and vibrancy of countries across Africa.

The Garden City is about to fill with vibrancy as a hand-picked, specialised troupe of acrobats, dancers, musicians and contortionists from six countries across Africa perform at the Empire Theatre in a one night extravaganza.
Produced and directed by hit Broadway director Winston Ruddle (Papa Africa), Cirque Africa brings 100 minutes of energy and flair to their audiences in a show which stretches the boundaries of imagination.
The troupe of 30 performers will bring a taste of their traditional culture, dance and music to the stage, interspersed between hand balancing, pan spinning, contortion, unicycles and percussion.
As part of their Australian tour, Cirque Africa will perform at the Empire Theatre on Wednesday, August 28, 2024.
