Jackie ‘O’ Henderson has splashed a whopping $13.25 million on a home in Sydney’s eastern suburbs.

The star made the purchase at auction on Saturday - and was congratulated by her team when she was back on-air on Monday morning.

“I don’t know if you liked it, but how good that the paps were filming you,” the show’s newsreader said, referring to photos of Jackie O at the auction that were published in some media outlets over the weekend.

“Actually, you know what? That was kind of good, to have that moment. You would never film yourself at an auction,” Jackie O said, calling the auction “hectic.”

The KIIS FM co-host, who recently sold her Woollahra mansion for the aforementioned sum, has purchased a fixer-upper with breathtaking ocean views in Clovelly.

Jackie, 48, was spotted at the auction on Saturday with her daughter Kitty, The Daily Telegraph reports. She came out on top in a relentless bidding war against two other candidates, winning the six bedder with sweeping views of Gordons Bay.

Photos in the publication showed her celebrating with her teen daughter and financial adviser, David O’Callaghan.

It comes after Jackie, who is one of the highest paid personalities in Australia alongside her radio co-host Kyle Sandilands, was driven out of her Woollahra home due to privacy concerns, with sources claiming the narrow street made it difficult for Jackie to avoid paparazzi.

She had initially purchased it in June 2020 for $11 million after leaving the Vaucluse home she’d shared with her ex-husband Lee Henderson, whom she split from in 2018 after 18 years together.

Kyle and Jackie re-signed a contract with ARN in 2019, which will see them remain on-air until the end of 2024.

News.com.au reported at the time the new contracts guarantee Kyle and Jackie between $7-8 million each per year.

The staggering deal means they get paid more than $39,000 each per three-and-a-half hour radio show.

And the dynamite duo told us in November that they had no plans to retire anytime soon.

“[Retirement] will be the day I die,” Kyle said at the time.

“We already know Jackie is going to stay on air crying and wearing black for the rest of her life. And then there’ll be 15 years of re-runs. Just like a Friends cast member.”
