Prince Andrew, teddy bears booted from Buckingham Palace

The disgraced royal has to find somewhere else to stay in London after being kicked out of Buckingham Palace by his brother King Charles.

Prince Andrew must accept public life with the Royal Family is ‘over’

Prince Andrew will no longer be spending nights at Buckingham Palace, after he and his teddy bears have been booted from the premises.

The disgraced 62-year-old’s treasured toys have been removed from the palace for renovations and will not be returning because of King Charles, reports The Sun.

The 10-year rebuilding project is expected to cost $644 million and includes gutting the Duke of York’s suite, known as Chamber Floor.

The suite is understood also include dozens of photographers of his family, including ex-wife Sarah Ferguson and daughters Beatrice and Eugenie.

The existence of the teddy bears was reported by The Sun last year, when it was revealed the Duke liked to surround himself with five bears or other stuffed animals - each in a specific position.

Staff told the outlet there was a teddy bear holding a heart as well as hippos and cushions with “Daddy”, “Ducks” and “Prince” on them.

It comes after Prince Andrew, who last January was stripped of his royal duties amid links to the disgraced paedophile Jeffrey Epstein, was forced to close his Palace office and use another address.

It’s understood discussions are underway to find Prince Andrew other accomodation in London, with St James’ Palace a possible option.

PRINCE ANDREW’S SEX ACCUSER ‘TO WRITE TELL-ALL MEMOIR’

Virginia Roberts Giuffre, the Australian-based woman who accused Prince Andrew of sexual assault, is reportedly publishing an explosive tell-all memoir.

News of the bombshell book comes a year after Ms Roberts Giuffre agreed to a multimillion-dollar settlement with the second son of the late Queen.

The deal is believed to be worth millions, multiple sources told the New York Post. It’s not yet known which publisher has won the rights.

Royal sources said any book from Ms Roberts Giuffre will be an embarrassment for the royal family, particularly on the heels of Prince Harry’s Spare and as King Charles is preparing to celebrate his coronation on May 6.

One insider said: “Andrew is going to obviously be invited to the coronation, although he will not be invited onto the balcony at Buckingham Palace. But the palace will want as little drama as possible, so this is terrible timing.”

Confirmation of the explosive book deal comes amid reports Prince Andrew has been booted out of Buckingham Palace. According to The Sun, the disgraced royal’s sleeping quarters at the Palace will close following the closure of his office on the premises last year.

“The King has made it clear that Buckingham Palace is no place for Prince Andrew,” a source cited in The Sun said.

“First his office closed last year and now his sleeping quarters.”

It also comes as Prince Andrew signalled he wants to launch a legal bid in an attempt to get Ms Roberts Giuffre to retract her allegations and possibly secure an apology after she dropped her lawsuit against another man she accused of sexual assault.

Ms Roberts Giuffre dropped her US lawsuit against paedophile Jeffrey Epstein’s former lawyer Alan Dershowitz last year — admitting that she “may have made a mistake”.

Despite agreeing to the payout, Prince Andrew has always vehemently denied any wrongdoing and told the BBC he had “no recollection of ever meeting” Ms Roberts Giuffre.

The Sun reports that the Duke of York is consulting US lawyers Andrew Brettler and Blair Berk and hopes to force a retraction or even an apology — which may clear the way for a return to royal duties.

It comes after convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell spoke of Prince Andrew in her first filmed interview behind bars, insisting the accusations against her “dear friend” were unfounded.

Maxwell said she never introduced the Duke of York to Ms Roberts Giuffre, as has been claimed, and that she has “no memory” of her ever meeting the accused royal.

She also said the widely circulated photo of Prince Andrew with Ms Roberts Giuffre with herself posed smiling in the background is “not real.”

“I have no memory of them meeting. And I don’t think that picture is real,” she said.

“There is no original of that photo, (just) copies of copies and parts of it, according to some experts, look like it has been photoshopped. I don’t remember her in my home.”
