Joyce Mayne Toowoomba is set to close after the business decided it would not renew the lease at its Bernoth Centre site.
A spokeswoman for the company confirmed the closure.
“The lease on the premises occupied by the Joyce Mayne franchised store was not renewed after an internal review,” she said.
“The directors of the franchisee companies are working with their employees on alternative employment arrangements post the end of lease sale activities.”
Joyce Mayne has franchises in NSW and Queensland.
The brand is owned by Harvey Norman Holdings Limited and it is understood staff at the Toowoomba store will be offered positions at Harvey Norman.
