The liquidation of a Toowoomba business that closed earlier this year has revealed $87,000 is owed to the Australian Taxation Office.

Toowoomba IT Solutions Pty Ltd, which formerly traded as both Pony Espresso Coffee Bar and Man Cave Oz, was voluntarily wound up on April 6, with Domenico Alessandro Calabretta of Mackay Goodwin appointed liquidator.

Summarising the company’s financial position, Mr Goodwin wrote in a statutory report that the business had $4990 in “realisable assets” and owed $88,868 to unsecured creditors.

The report lists the ATO has being $87,504, while AGL, Ergon Energy and Toowoomba Refrigeration Services make up the rest of the unsecured creditors.

Pony Espresso Coffee Bar was opened in April 2016.

A new, unrelated business now operates from the site Pony Espresso once occupied on the corner of Neil and Bowen Streets.
