What is it? A new gizmo from Therabody, the US wellness brand that pioneered “percussive therapy”. You’ve probably seen its Theragun – a sort of bijou jackhammer for soothing aching joints. This new device is designed for your noggin.

So it’s a vibrator for your face! Yes, although Therabody would prefer that you describe it as “the ultimate device for facial health”.

Facial health? Sounds like it’s inventing a problem in order to sell us an exxy “solution”. Perish the thought. Percussive therapy can ease tension in your neck, jaw and temples. But wait, there’s more!

I’m all ears. Pink, vibrating ears. It can also administer a micro-current and LED light therapy to “lift, tone and rejuvenate” your skin.

What to say: “It unlocks so many new ways to love your face!” (That’s Therabody’s marketing department.)

Don’t say: “Bollocks.”

About $630, available soon, therabody.com
