Bank greed ‘criminal’

Kenneth Hayne has recommended criminal charges against three financial institutions and asked for probes into 15 more. Ben Butler writes that arrogance and an unwillingness to take the NAB’s misconduct seriously were fatal flaws for Ken Henry and Andrew Thorburn. Rescue saves hundreds

A flotilla of tinnies and army boats was used to rescue hundreds of people from their flooded homes yesterday, while two people are still missing.
