The most comprehensive list of Australia’s wealthy elite is revealed for the first time.
The inaugural edition of The List — Australia’s Richest 250 has been revealed today.
Led by billionaire Anthony Pratt — the richest person in Australia with a fortune of $13.14 billion — The List features 96 billionaires and 27 women, with an average wealth of $1.27 billion for the 250 people featured. Their combined wealth is almost $320bn.

Property dominates The List, contributing 68 members including billionaires Harry Triguboff and Lang Walker. Many members of The List have also made their fortunes in industries such as transport and mining, before diversifying into residential and commercial property investments.
The List also features manufacturing billionaires, mining magnates, technology gurus and retail moguls.
