ONE of magazine publisher Bauer Australia’s few remaining female executives is leaving the company due to a “restructure”.
Bauer chief executive Matt Stanton announced to teams last night that the head of Bauer Custom and Books, Sally Wright, would leave the company after a restructure.
However, it is understood he failed to outline the details of the new restructure.
Wright had overseen the two most profitable divisions in the company, with Bauer Books producing the highly-successful Australian Women’s Weekly cookbooks and Custom Media creating branded editorial print and digital content for advertisers.
Bauer’s communications head, Deborah Thomas is expected to make a short announcement about Wright’s departure later today.
