Barrister Mark Le Grand is a regular contributor to The Australian. He was the inaugural Director of the Official Misconduct Division [OMD] of Queensland’s Criminal Justice Commission [CJC] from 1990 to 1999, the precursor to the Crime and Corruption Commission [CCC]. The OMD was the investigative arm of the CJC. He was a former member of the National Crime Authority and former deputy director of public prosecutions for the commonwealth.
