Little Pig Creek, Kangaroo Valley accommodation review: Weekend away
By Sarah Whyte
The location
High mountains, winding rainforest roads and rocky escarpments envelop Kangaroo Valley and its picturesque green paddocks. The main street of the small town is lined with quirky lolly shops, cafes and quaint antique dealerships. This cottage is located just off this thoroughfare.
The place
An impressive collection of artefacts from exotic locations including Syria, Pakistan, Portugal and north-west China fill this luxurious cottage. Surrounded by lush gardens, it has two large bedrooms, a full kitchen with antique fittings and a Moroccan-style bathroom. A daybed next to the fireplace is ideal for a romantic night in.
The experience
This is the place to get lost in a book, enjoy the expansive, manicured gardens or simply luxuriate in the claw-foot bath.
Don't miss
Try a bike ride through the brilliant green fields, amid grand mountain ranges. A trip to nearby Berry is also worthwhile.
