Good Weekend

The October 26 Edition

How do you tell a close friend they’re an addict in need of help? It’s hard. What if the addict is your boss? The assistant to Matthew Perry knows how diabolical that can be; he’s been charged with crimes related to procuring the ketamine that killed the late Friends star. In a happier outcome, Jackie Henderson – of the Kyle & Jackie O radio show fame – didn’t die from the pills she became addicted to during COVID lockdowns. But her assistant and manager both struggled with how to help her after realising she had problems. Henderson talks candidly about her addiction with Konrad Marshall in today’s cover story, as well as in her upcoming memoir. Editor, Katrina Strickland.
