With dozens of restaurants within cooee, the Kent doesn't stray far from a traditional pub menu. The dinosaur-shaped chicken nuggets with chips will satisfy any youngster and the spaghetti marinara with chunks of salmon, prawns, cherry tomatoes and rocket is an adult winner. The Cajun chicken strips on jasmine rice come with a rich, spicy tandoori sauce - and the Fat Yak Ale on tap is the perfect match for it. And there are a dozen reds and a dozen whites to choose from. The dinner crowd comes early, so it's best to book ahead. Service is fast and friendly.
