This iconic far south coast pub with a great view has a long deck out the front where the local and visiting fishermen perch after their adventures on the waters that the hotel overlooks. An obvious choice from the bistro then would be grilled snapper or battered flathead, although the steaks are great, too, with great sauces for smothering. Salads are good, but avoid the vegies, as they appeared to be of the boiled frozen variety. There is a bottle shop, so plenty to choose for drinks, and the accommodation is not that bad either.
