Bowral's Biota restaurant opens pop-up in Chippendale and Barn near Bowral
Biota restaurant's month-long Sydney pop-up in the former site of Chippendale's Silvereye restaurant kicks off on Monday, June 11.
And while Sydney diners will tuck into Flinders Island mutton bird and brahman hump with hot sauce during its Sydney stay, closer to Biota's Bowral home, owner-chef James Viles has taken on a new venue in the Southern Highlands.
A spokesman confirmed Barn will open in August and will include luxury accommodation and serve "long table feasts" from Thursday through Saturday.
In other events news, Porteno kitchen duo Ben Milgate and Elvis Abrahanowicz have been named as curators for Carriageworks Winter Night Market, to be held on July 27.
About 35 restaurants and 20 bars will participate; Milgate and Abrahanowicz's dishing up the theme of "burning love".
