Intersection Tavern
13.5/20
$$
Most of the food action at The Intersection takes place upstairs, either in the good-sized dining area or on the large open deck. There's a small but varied wine list and the bistro menu covers most pub classics and ventures beyond. The tasting plate made a filling two-person entree with skewers of barbecued garlic prawns, salt-and-pepper squid, grilled haloumi and some delicious dips. The (non-slimming) chicken caesar salad was loaded with shaved parmesan, bacon, crunchy croutons and a deep-fried crumbed egg with creamy dressing and was oh-so-tasty, as was the ham and cheese-laden chicken parmigiana.
