Little Chloe

Cafe

In a far-flung corner of East Malvern, this cute little outfit is doing sublime coffee from the likes of Market Lane and the Maling Room, any way you like it: Aeropress, cold drip, filter or pourover. The house blend has a dark, oaky nose and a silky mouthfeel. A fitout of wood knots, astroturf, jade plants and a whimsical silhouette painting gives a cosy feel, as do the chummy staff. The food has an Asian-accent - from black-rice porridge with pandan-infused coconut cream for breakfast to gold band snapper with green papaya for lunch - and features locally sourced ingredients such as Myrtleford butter and Melbourne City Rooftop Honey.
