Woman charged over string of home break-ins in Darwin

An 18-year-old woman who allegedly broke into several properties primarily in Darwin’s northern suburbs has been charged and will front court today.

An 18-year-old woman who allegedly broke into several properties primarily in Darwin’s northern suburbs has been charged and will front court today.

Police allege the 18-year-old unlawfully entered a number of residences and businesses in Berrimah, Malak, Marrara and Stuart Park between April 3-16.

She was arrested on Friday and Strike Force Trident Detectives later charged her with seven counts of unlawful entry, five counts of stealing and two counts of the aggravated unlawful use of a motor vehicle.

She was also charges with damage to property, drive a motor vehicle while unlicensed and breach of bail.

She was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court today.
