TYRES? Who needs tyres?
A couple of interesting videos have emerged on social media of a LandCruiser fishtailing along and chucking donuts while being followed by police.
Another video, seemingly taken some time later, shows the ‘Cruiser still flying along, but this time rattling past on a back rim missing its tyre.

Several people are visible in the front and back of the vehicle.
The videos were reportedly taken at Angurugu on Groote Eylandt.
In the video, where the ‘Cruiser still has all its tyres (including a spare on the roof rack), it comes fishtailing down a town road before chucking a couple of donuts, spraying red dirt and dust all around, before heading off again with the driver and passengers laughing excitedly.
As the video continues, an NT police vehicle comes into view through the dust and follows the LandCruiser down the road.
Reactions to the videos on social media seem to indicate that the scenes aren’t that unusual to locals.
One commenter posted it was just another day in Angurugu.
He added: “I’ve seen them on all four rims chucking donuts!”
