NORTHERN Territory Police have charged a number of youths in relation to property offences in Alice Springs this month.

A residence in Gillen on August 17 was unlawfully entered with two vehicles and a number of smaller items stolen.

Strike Force Viper investigators located the stolen property yesterday at a residence in Alice Springs.

Two 15-year-old males were charged with unlawfully possessing stolen property. They were bailed and are expected to appear in court on Thursday, August 26.

A third 15-year-old male was charged with a serious breach of bail he was remanded to appear in court on Thursday, August 26.

At around 12:30pm on Wednesday, August 25, police received reports of an unlawful entry in progress on Nicker Crescent, Gillen.

A male was seen fleeing the residence upon police arrival, after a short pursuit the youth was apprehended by members from the Dog Operations Unit.

The 15-year-old was later charged for a series of offences by investigators from Strike Force.

He was further charged by investigators for his alleged involvement in the August 17 unlawful entry with attempted unlawful Entry, trespassing, and damage to property.

He was remanded to appear before court on Thursday, August 26..
