AN NT Police officer has been charged with leaking “confidential information”.
A police spokesman said the 54-year-old woman had been charged with “disclosure of confidential information pursuant to section 76 of the Criminal Code Act 1983”.
“The matter is under investigation by the Professional Standards Command,” he said.
“As the matter is now before the courts, no further information will be provided.
“This information is provided in accordance with the NT Police transparency guidelines.”
The woman has been served with a notice to appear at the Darwin Local Court on Monday.
