POLICE sealed off parts of the Darwin CBD this morning after a man climbed onto the roof of a building along Mitchell St.
Northern Watch Commander Richard Howie said police responded after a man climbed onto the roof of the Darwin’s old children’s court building opposite the Discovery nightclub on Mitchell St at 3.30am on Monday.
“The man was sighted sitting on a structure approximately 30 metres above the ground,” he said.

Cdr said the man then began climbing down from the building onto Mitchell Street at 3.50am and he was apprehended by police.
