POLICE are on the hunt for man who walked out of a charity shop in Stuart Park with a blue couch.
CCTV shows the man entered the Vinnies shop on October 2, looked around briefly before returning with a removalist trolley.
He then loaded the trolley with a near-new condition, blue two-seater couch, valued at about $400, and wheeled it from the store without paying.
At the time, the staff member was busy helping other customers.
The man was wearing orange and black boardies and a blue button-up shirt, black cap and green patterned socks and red shoes.

Constable Emma Lacey said: “This charity assists Territorians experiencing poverty and inequality. The $400 this couch could have sold for would have been used to help families in need.”
Police would like to speak to a man who was in the store at the time. He is described as a male of caucasian appearance in his 40s, approximately 170cm tall with a slim build and brown moustache.
