A MAN has been charged with causing serious harm, aggravated assault and going armed in public for allegedly attacking two people in the street with a knife.
According to NT Police, the 24-year-old allegedly approached the two men on Briggs St in Darwin City, both known to him, and assaulted them with a “bladed weapon” around 3pm on Tuesday.
He was on the run until around 5pm when he was arrested.
A 27-year-old man suffered serious injuries, including a collapsed lung, and was taken to hospital where he remains in a stable condition.
A 35-year-old man was discharged from hospital last night after suffering minor facial injuries.

The 24-year-old has been remanded in custody and will appear in court on February 3.
