NT POLICE has lost one of its own after a sudden and severe illness took the life of Patrol Dog Quake.
The working dog, described as the best friend of Senior Constable Harry Vincent, died on Monday in Alice Springs.
PD Quake is survived by brother PD Wedge.

In a statement, the Northern Territory Police Force acknowledged the passing of Patrol Dog Quake following a short but severe illness.
“PD Quake was a valued member of our agency, undertaking operational duties across both Darwin and Southern Commands during his time,” the statement read.
“PD Quake will be sadly missed by his blue family.
“We extend our condolences to Harry, his family and all members of the NT Police Dog Operations Unit during this time.”
