A second man has been charged after a man was fatally shot with an arrow in Peppimenarti.
NT Police said a 22-year-old was arrested on Friday and charged with one count of recklessly endangering life.
Police alleged the young man was involved when a 36-year-old man was fatally pierced with an arrow amid heightened family tensions in the West Daly region.
The 22-year-old was remanded to appear in Darwin Local Court on Monday, September 19.
He is the second person to be charged in relation to the alleged arrow attack, with an 18-year-old man appearing in court on Thursday charged with manslaughter.
“Investigations into the incident remain ongoing,” a police spokesman said.
