ONCE again, Sarrita King showed her matchwinning qualities in helping Waratahs to a 51-42 victory over a quality Banks outfit in Round 3 of Darwin Premier League Netball last week.
“Sarrita is our wing attack and captain, and she’s always consistent,” Waratahs coach Alyce Casilli told the NT News.
“As captain, she leads this team by example and picks the team up. She has a great on-court presence.”

It wasn’t just King’s performance which impressed Casilli, though.
“There wasn’t a standout for us – all the girls played really well as a team,” the Waratahs mentor said.
“It was a well-fought game.
“We were down by two points after the first quarter before we managed to pull away.
“Absolutely (Waratahs have championship-winning potential).”
Waratahs take on three-time runners-up Nightcliff Tigers in Round 4 action at Marrara tonight.
“This week is a huge game,” Casilli said.
“All the girls have to do their individual jobs if they want to win, and execute what we’ve been working on at training.
“They’ll need to fight for every ball.”
In other Round 3 results, Tracy Village defeated Nightcliff 33-29 and Pints prevailed 42-36 over Hoggies.
