PALMERSTON Magpies young gun ended his season on a high note with a round topping haul of 37 disposals in Round 18.
The Round 13 Rising Star nominee Ryan Warfe had another big showing for his Palmerston side against the Tiwi Bombers taking 23 kicks and 14 handballs.
Warfe’s stats also included 14 marks and two clearances helping the Magpies to a win in their final game of the 2020-21 season.

Palmerston skipper Matt Dennis also had an impressive stats showing against the Bombers racking up 33 disposals (18 kicks, 15 handballs) and 19 marks.
Lucas Jellyman-Turner from St Mary’s topped the stats for his side in their dominant win over Wanderers with 30 disposals including 20 kicks and 10 handballs.
And NT News player of the year winner Dylan Landt put in a typically strong showing for the Green Machine with 29 disposals including 25 kicks and four handballs.
On 28 disposals four players tied for fifth position including Wanderers’ Dane McFarlane (21 kicks, seven handballs), Waratah’s John Simson (18 kicks, 13 handballs), Palmerston’s Chris Williams (15 kicks, 13 handballs) and Southern Districts’ Michael Barlow (10 kicks, 18 handballs).
Also of note was the 15 tackles put in by Nightcliff’s Dom Brew, a season record a game which saw the Tigers overturn a 34 point deficit against Waratah.
