Junior training programs in all associations play a key role in developing future eightball champions and the NT is no stranger to seeing its juniors find success at the highest level.

Most notably in 1994 Darwin junior Ben Crawley was crowned the World Junior Champion in England while other NT juniors have gone to play for Australia not just at junior level, but senior level as well.

More recently the standout NT juniors have been Emily Sanders, who placed runner-up in the under 18s in both 2019 and 2020, and Jason Yu who came runner-up in the under 12 boys.

NT juniors found plenty of national success in the 90s with Ben Crawley also winning the 1993 under-18 boys Australian National Junior facing fellow NT junior Mark Warry in the final.

Crawley’s brother Travis finished runner up in 1991 with two senior National Singles titles now to his name.
