NTFL ROUND 2: Get the stats for Tiwi v Magpies, St Mary’s v Wanderers

A SOUTHERN Districts player topped the stats for the second week in a row in Round 2 of the NTFL with midfielder Luke Kiel making his mark.

The Sebastopol star made 15 kicks and 12 handballs in just his second game for the Crocs.

This comes as the second week in a row that a player from Districts has topped the disposal stats with Lionel Ogden doing so for the side in the opener.

Incidentally it also comes as the second round in which a player from the losing side has topped the stats with Southern Districts losing by 27-points to Buffaloes.

That was not the case for Palmerston’s pair of Eric Guthrie and Chris Williams who dominated proceedings in their side’s 73-point win over the Tiwi Bombers.

Captain McLean saw off 20 kicks and three handballs while Mannagh who has had a big start to the season managed 18 kicks and five handballs.

They weren’t the only duo to manage 23 disposals with Fletcher Carroll (12 kicks and 11 handballs) and Mason Dewitt (18 kicks and five handballs) also working hard in their losing cause.
