The Mindil Beach Markets are drawing to a close for another year.
THE Mindil Beach Markets are drawing to a close for another year but there is plenty of entertainment in store for their final day.
Tens of thousands have flocked to the Market throughout the year with many expected to enjoy a laksa or watch the sunset on the final day of operation for the year.
The usual fireworks will be missing this year but two time NT winner of best live act The NEO will perform live in the Soundshell.
Mindil Beach Sunset Markets general manager Peter Ayre said stall holders had faced their challenges in 2021 but it had been an overall enjoyable year. “We’re eternally grateful to have been able to operate. We started exceptionally well but were affected by the lockdowns,” Mr Ayre said.
“Our stallholders are resilient though. There will be plenty of entertainment with The NEO playing.
“So come down, make the most of our last night and enjoy our wonderful stalls and amazing sunset.”
