While most have their eyes glued to their famous partners on the football field, these women have forged their own well-deserved paths to success.
The wives and girlfriends of AFL players are often seen on the sidelines supporting their partners, at times overlooked by adoring fans.
Despite this, the ‘WAGS’ continue to work hard behind the scenes, carving out their own career paths.
Take Paige Bramley, the girlfriend of Adelaide Crows defender Josh Worrell.
She seamlessly juggles it all – and more.
From running her own clothing hire business Rent Our Robe — which operates out of both Adelaide and Melbourne, while offering Australia-wide shipping and try-ons, she also runs her own pilates and boxing classes called ‘pilates with Paigey’ through GFit - but that’s not all.
Paige, who is originally from Melbourne, also runs high energy boxing-inspired fitness classes at One Two at Klemzig.
“I love all things fitness, more specifically boxing and pilates,” she wrote on Instagram.
“When I’m not in the gym shouting at you to punch harder or to do more burpees, I am often spending time at the beach and hanging out with friends, whether that be on a nice long walk or having a cheeky arvo wine.”
Paige moved to Adelaide just over three years ago and is often seen supporting Worrell.
The Advertiser has compiled a list of some of the most notable wives and girlfriends of AFL players and their occupations and passions.
