Seventy six-year-old man killed after crashing into Stobie pole at Para Vista
An elderly man has died after crashing into a stobie pole, while his passenger, a 75-year-old woman, has also been taken to hospital.

An elderly driver was killed on Friday morning after he slammed his car into a Stobie pole.
Emergency services were called to the intersection of Nelson Rd and Montague Rd at 10.45am on November 1, after reports that a Nissan SUV had crashed.
The 76-year-old St Agnes man behind wheel died at the scene, and his passenger, a 75-year-old woman from the same suburb, was taken to hospital.
As Major Crash officers investigated, the westbound lane of Montague Rd was closed at Charmaine Ave, and Nelson Rd was closed for southbound traffic, but both routes have since reopened.
The man’s death marks the 73rd life lost on South Australian roads this year.

It follows a major traffic disruption at Grand Junction Rd following a crash earlier on Friday morning.
