Investigators from SA Police’s Major Crash unit attended the scene to examine the circumstances of the crash.

The man’s death is the fifth life lost on South Australia roads this year.

It comes after a man riding a motorbike died in a horrific crash in Adelaide’s inner-west on earlier this month.

A 58-year-old Golden Grove man, who was riding the motorcycle, died at the scene.
