After 282 games and bagging a club-high 651 goals, it would be safe for Taylor Walker to assume his young family would bleed red, yellow and blue.
But the Crows veteran has sensationally revealed his four-year-old son, Louis, barracks for Collingwood.
Speaking on Nine’s Gather Round special in the Barossa on Tuesday night, Tex and his wife Ellie admitted their son was obsessed with the Pies.
“Louis has kind of gone against the grain and he is now a Collingwood supporter,” Ellie said.
The shocked panel, which included former Crows teammate and friend Rory Sloane, burst into laughter after the amusing admission.
Adding insult to injury was the fact Tex is no longer his favourite player, with Pies superstar Nick Daicos claiming the sought-after number one spot.
“I think Dad favourite, Nick Daicos second favourite,” Ellie said.
“I don’t think I am the favourite,” Tex was quick to reply.
Host and Pies diehard Eddie McGuire was quick to make fun of the situation, saying the Walker’s second child was “very intelligent”.
The Crows’ spearhead revealed Daicos and his partner Arlette were on holiday in Fiji at the same time as the Walkers.
“They are beautiful people, they gave our kids the world and a lot of time,” Tex said.
“To this point, he loves Collingwood.”
“He knows the anthem off by heart,” Ellie added.
Crows livewire Izak Rankine also proved he’s no one-trick pony at the event, stunning viewers with an acoustic performance of Maroon 5’s ‘She Will Be Loved’.
“What a superstar!,” Sloane commented on a viral video of the performance.
