OPPOSITION leader Lia Finocchiaro is chafing at the bit to get down to business with her new eight member Country Liberal team.
Ms Finocchiaro has pledged her next generation CLP parliamentary team of Joshua Burgoyne (Braitling), Marie-Clare Boothby (Brennan), Ian Sloan (Daly), Jo Hersey (Katherine), Gerard Maley (Nelson), Steve Edgington (Barkly) and Bill Yan (Namatjira) will be working tirelessly to hold the Gunner Government to account.
She expressed her gratitude to Territorians for the return of confidence in the Country Liberal Party as a future government.
“Tens of thousands of Territorians voted for the CLP and we will fight hard every day to hold the Gunner Government to account,” Ms Finocchiaro said.
“The Country Liberal Team listened to Territorians about what is important to them, and we responded with a comprehensive, costed plan to grow our economy, create jobs and tackle crime.
“We will continue to connect with people right across the Territory on the issues that matter to them.
