TOURISM Minister Natasha Fyles has said she was “warmly welcomed” by her Federal counterpart as discussions continue over the future of Kakadu’s $216 million masterplan.
Ms Fyles met with Environment Minister Sussan Ley she urged Territorians to have their say on the draft proposal for the national park.

“I was warmly welcomed in Canberra in what was a busy sittings week for the Federal Government, and all my discussions have been productive,” Ms Fyles said.
“We are both committed to ensuring Kakadu National Park is recognised as the iconic World Heritage Park it is, and acknowledge this investment is important to delivering on that.”

The meeting, held last week, comes as Federal Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese on Sunday laid into Prime Minister Scott Morrison for continual delays to the project.
