Emergency services have responded to a crash on a major thoroughfare, with witnesses describing major traffic delays throughout a nearby suburb.
The crash took place at 7.39am Thursday on Kirkland Rd – near the Wishart Rd intersection – according to the NT Police, Fire and Emergency Services incident map.
It is understood four vehicles were involved however the wellbeing of those involved is unclear at this stage.
A morning commuter said traffic cones could be seen blocking access to the usually busy road, pushing congestion deep into Durack.
He said multiple vehicles were forced to make U-turns to avoid the area.
NT Police have been contacted for comment.
