THE Territory’s Economic Reconstruction Commission has received about 300 projects Territorians think hold the answer to economic recovery.

It’s a magnificent demonstration of the level of interest Territorians are showing in getting this place back on the path to better things and a more secure footing.

While the projects may be exciting and bold, the important thing to understand is that this report by the Economic Reconstruction Commission will not be about picking winners.

The report will not be about lining up projects for the government to pick like a lottery draw.

It’s about making sure redundant studies do not hold the Territory back from the jobs and the new industries it so desperately needs.
