VICTORIANS have become one of the Northern Territory’s largest interstate holiday source markets and it’s great to see visitor numbers from the state increased in the last financial year, despite the onset of the coronavirus pandemic.

A total of 207,000 visitors came to the NT from Victoria in the year ending June 2020, an increase of 7 per cent, with total expenditure of $286m.

The growth in visitor numbers occurred primarily during 2019, before COVID-19.
