Woman with suspected spinal injury after cliff fall on Darwin Esplanade

A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital with suspected spinal injuries after falling from a cliff

A WOMAN has been rushed to hospital with suspected spinal injuries after falling from a cliff near the Darwin Esplanade this morning.

A large group of NT Police, SES members and St John Ambulance crews were on the scene and rescued a woman who fell this morning.

A St John Ambulance spokeswoman said the patient was transported to Royal Darwin Hospital at about 8.55am.

She said the woman had possible spinal damage but was in a stable condition.
