A CRIME scene has been established in Alice Springs after a driver reportedly drove into a parked vehicle, injuring a man standing nearby.
At around 2:10 this morning, police received reports of a red 4WD speeding through a carpark on Flynn Drive, Gillen, before crashing into a Holden Commodore parked in the carpark.
The man standing next to the passenger side of the car sustained a non-life threatening leg injury and was taken to the Alice Springs Hospital.
The 4WD then took off at speed.

Anyone who may have witnessed the car or the incident is urged to contact police.
Police are advising drivers to avoid the area of the crime scene.
