VIDEO footage of the early morning carnage in Darwin CBD has revealed the four-wheel-drive narrowly missed a group of people as it slammed into popular watering hole Six Tanks Brew Co.
The footage, filmed by a witness as the incident unfolded and provided to the NT News, shows the Toyota LandCruiser driving on the wrong side of the road before careening into Six Tanks Brew Co.

The car narrowly missed three people that were inches from the drivers’ side door.
A woman can be heard screaming.
One of the men in the group, wearing a white t-shirt, can be heard exclaiming “that f***er there almost killed me man” as a random black dog which appears to come from the car bolts from the scene.
The 2003 Toyota LandCruiser slammed into the pub around 3am, with police alleging initial investigations indicate the driver had been involved in a brawl with a group of people before jumping into the car and driving into them.
“One of the men from this assault has gotten into a vehicle and driven it at a group of people,” a NT Police spokesperson said in a statement.
“The vehicle mounted the sidewalk and struck one man, before hitting the entrance of a licensed premise.
“Police urge anyone who filmed the assault incident, or who has information which may assist with investigations, to contact them on 131 444 or report it anonymously via Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.”
Paramedics said one man was taken to Royal Darwin Hospital, with Top End Health this afternoon confirming he was in a stable condition.
The other man, understood to be the driver, was taken away by police.
Damage done by a four-wheel drive will cost upwards of $15,000 to fix, the bar’s manager has said.
