Noonamah Tavern events and promotions manager Spokz Wheeler said Saturday’s event would be the biggest rodeo the Territory had seen since the pandemic began.
Crowds will be watching to see if the unrideable feature bull, Vengeance, will be able to keep his perfect record intact.
No rider has ever stayed on Vengeance longer than the required eight seconds.
Territory rodeo champ Darcy McBean said the bull would make a spectacular replacement for the undefeated rodeo Guns N Roses who retired in 2019.
“Vengeance definitely has the wow factor,” he said.
“He’s kicked off every rider he’s come across here and in Mt Isa, including me, Sam Champ and Cody Tapp.”
Gates open this Saturday at 5.30pm.
