A MAN has been sent packing back to Queensland after he allegedly breached multiple directions from the NT Chief Health Officer.
The 33-year-old man arrived in Darwin on Monday July 26 and allegedly failed to provide enough details to satisfy entry into the NT.
As a result he was sent to the Howard Springs quarantine facility.
While there he allegedly breached further directions of the Chief Health Officer.
The NT News understands he allegedly did not wear a mask.
As a consequence he was arrested and charged and taken into police custody.
He has been charged with breach of CHO Directions and has been bailed to appear on August 24.
As part of his bail conditions the man was sent back to Queensland.
Incident Controller Acting Commander Hege Burns said anyone entering the NT was required to complete their NT Border Entry Form regardless of where they had been.
