POPULAR city ice cream shop Johnn Johnn’s has announced they are opening a second store in Palmerston.

“Johnn Johnn’s is having a baby brother and it’s expected to arrive to Palmerston this March/April,” they announced on Facebook.

“We’re excited to bring you more joyful Johnn Johnn’s experiences.”

However, the location remains a secret.

Johnn Johnn’s moved in to a larger city location, the CWA building on Knuckey Street, in November last year.

Owner Johnn Koenig said the former CWA building had the space they needed to expand the business.

“This is a bigger location and we’re now working on an agreement with council to use the outdoor area for seating as well,” he said.

“We want to expand the kitchen to also start offering pancakes, waffles and more.”
