A TEENAGE girl was taken to hospital following an alleged brawl between students from two Palmerston schools.
A NT Police spokeswoman has confirmed police are investigating alleged assaults following a disturbance between youths at a Palmerston school about 3.20pm yesterday.
The NT News has been told the fight allegedly broke out between students from Palmerston College and MacKillop Catholic College, on the latter’s school grounds.

It is believed two girls were injured after they were set upon by a group of up to five girls.
The police spokeswoman said a 14-year-old girl had been taken to hospital by family for treatment.
In an email to parents, provided to the NT News by the school, MacKillop Catholic College principal Lauretta Graham confirmed two of the school’s students had suffered minor injuries.
“Dear Families, this email provides information regarding an incident yesterday afternoon after school,” she said.
“At the close of the school day students from another school entered MacKillop with the intention to fight. Two MacKillop students sustained minor injuries.
“Staff intervened and the situation was dissolved within minutes.
“Both MacKillop students were immediately cared for by staff. Parents were called and the other school’s leadership and police were contacted.
“Police were on site within minutes. Both students returned to class today.
“Our staff on duty supported by students and other staff acted promptly and stepped in and managed the situation.
“Police and the other school staff will continue to work with us over the next few weeks. For this we are grateful. We are working together for a long term solution.
“We are pleased to report that both police and the other school are taking this seriously. I sincerely thank all staff, parents and students who helped resolve the situation.”

A Department of Education spokeswoman said it was assisting as appropriate.
“Palmerston College is working with the parents of the students directly involved,” she said.
Police are continuing to investigate, with witnesses urged to contact them on 131 444.
