Police at second crime scene in Karama where woman‘s stabbing believed linked to man’s death

Forensic police have arrived at a second crime scene in Karama where a young woman is understood to have been stabbed. The scene is believed to be linked to the stabbing death of a young man elsewhere in Karama overnight.

FORENSIC police have arrived at a second crime scene in Wearing Crescent, Karama where a second stabbing is understood to have taken place.

A woman who is understood to reside at the address has been taken to the Royal Darwin Hospital in a serious but stable condition.

The man killed in a stabbing incident in Karama overnight was 20 years old, while a woman who was injured nearby was aged 25, NT Police have said.

“A 25-year-old female was also taken to Royal Darwin Hospital with significant injuries to her stomach and remains in a serious but stable condition,” a police spokesman said.

The crime scene is linked to a Kalymnos Dr crime scene where a man has died.

Residents say there has been a lot of commotion at the address in recent weeks.

Resident of Wearing Crescent, Stephanie Parry, said a woman went to her father-in-law’s house after being stabbed on Wednesday night.

“He’s stabbed her she’s gone to my father in law’s house, and she’s called out for him to, you know, call police and emergency services,” Ms Parry said.

“He (Ms Parry’s father-in-law) said it was all done by midnight.”
