THE NT Supreme Court’s Chief Justice is among some of Australia’s most senior judges whose family members have been profiled on a leaked Chinese database.
The database, leaked from Chinese company Zhenhua Data and believed to have been used by China’s intelligence service, includes more than 100 names of Australian judges and their family members, according to The Australian Financial Review.
A profile on Chief Justice Michael Grant from the NT Supreme Court is also reportedly on the list along with several other Chief Justices, including Anne Ferguson (VIC), Catherine Holmes (QLD), Alan Blow (TAS) and Helen Murrell (ACT).
The database also detailed information on more than 35,000 Australians, and about 2.4 million people worldwide.
Academics, public servants, prominent Australians, journalists, diplomats and military figures have also reportedly been targeted.
